We're building a plan for the future.

As arts and heritage in Edmonton touch all aspects of our community, hearing stories and opinions from members of the public, arts and heritage groups and community-based organizations is incredibly important. It helps to represent the many diverse groups and viewpoints in our city. On this website, you will be able to identify important arts and heritage assets and experiences in our city. Memories. Moments. Hopes and dreams. Your input will shape the future of arts and heritage in Edmonton.

It is critical that the plan is informed by input from a wide range of Edmontonians—therefore, we are embarking on a broad-based community engagement plan: 2029: Building Edmonton's Community Plan for Arts and Heritage.

The feedback received on this website and during this engagement process will inform the recommendations in the next 10-year arts and heritage plan.

On behalf of the City, Edmonton Arts Council, Edmonton Heritage Council, and Arts Habitat Edmonton are working together to develop our next comprehensive Arts & Heritage Plan. It will be the successor to The Art of Living and will guide and strengthen the City of Edmonton's ongoing development, support, planning and investment in the arts and heritage sectors. This unique 10-year plan will contain clear recommendations to further develop our arts and heritage sectors and provide strong guidelines that will infuse the arts into every aspect of our civic landscape.

Thank you for your input in helping us shape the future of Edmonton's arts and heritage landscape.
